- In order to reduce the green house gas emissions and water usage at the Shoalhaven Mill the coal-fired boiler at the Mill was replaced with a gas-fired boiler and the waste water treatment plant was re-engineered to achieve the same water quality outcome with less processing
- As part of its continuous improvement program, the Shoalhaven Mill has the following certifications: Quality System AS/NZ ISO 9001:2000, Environmental System AS/NZ ISO 14001:2004
- PEFC CoC, ECF, EMS AS/NZ ISO 14001:2004, QS AS/NZ ISO 9001:2008
